Welcome to our ambitious, Caring and aspiring learning community at St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School.
St Joseph’s is a one form entry Catholic primary school in Waltham Cross where we pride ourselves on working together as a community and celebrating our experiences and aspirations.
At St Joseph’s we live not only by;
Our Mission statement
At St. Joseph’s we live, love and learn by the example of Jesus
But also by;
Our School Vision
‘Aspiring for excellence for all, together as a Catholic community’.
I aspire every day for excellence in myself and others. Here at St Joseph’s it is the Vision I want all of us to have for every child to achieve the very best in life. We have one chance of an education and one chance as educators to make a difference. It is our job as staff and teachers at St Joseph’s to ensure our children are inspired to aspire. To be the leaders of the future, the role models for the next generation.
At St Joseph’s I want us to challenge our children with a robust and rigorous curriculum that not only inspires them, but engages and excites them. We are a school where well-being comes first for all.
Our school has seen many changes over the past few years in making our curriculum the best it can be. In raising our expectations, in reviewing our procedures, and making everything more consistent. We have worked extremely hard to embed excellent quality first teaching into our everyday. I am proud of the team we have at St Joseph’s who continue to grow and inspire me every day. We are a school who are starting to see our children grow with the mindset they have to challenge and feel challenged.
This New Year brings new challenges which together we will embrace and I know with the strength of team, the amazing children we have and the support of all stakeholders we will grow and achieve greatly. We are a school that celebrates working together as a community, within our Parish, with other schools, agencies and learning and growing together. It is the strength of relationships which empower our learners to achieve.
No one works alone and so for St Joseph’s to grow we need to work together. As a school we pride ourselves in supporting parents and families. We do what we need to do to ensure that children and adults alike get the support necessary.
As a school family growing together our children will be happy, safe, feel pride in their ability and achievements and succeed as they aspire to great futures.
