FLIP FLIP FLIP! What an action packed week we have had, an to finish it off an amazing Friday learning all about the USA during our International day. We learnt all about the USA and some of the history behind the Golden Gate Bridge and the Grand Canyon. Then to top it off we made our own American style pancakes, with thanks to Mrs Nicolini, at least to say, they were delicious!!!
This week during RE we have bee thinking about the story of Pentecost and how the Disciples would have felt in the house in Jerusalem.
In Literacy we have been writing our own cress diary and I hope you have got to enjoy your child’s cress pot that was sent home on Friday. Please feel free to send in any photos of your child’s cress pot. It would be lovely to share with everyone, also please remind your child to water their seeds!!
In Maths we have been looking at doubling numbers, we have been writing these as number sentences, making ladybirds prints and using dominoes. Next week we will be learning about halving numbers and how this links to doubling numbers.
