Nursery News 15/3/19

Friday again already and what a week it’s been. Firstly, it was so lovely to see most of you at yesterday’s parents’ evening. It’s such a perfect opportunity to discuss and celebrate the amazing progress every single one of your children have made. Mrs Gilliam and I are so proud of them all. Thank you so much for all the hard work that you do at home to support what we do at school. It really does show, so thank you! They will be ‘Reception-ready’ in no time!
This week our phonics focus letter was ‘d’ and our story of the week was ‘Welcome to Alien School’. In maths this week we continued reinforcing our number formation and revisiting how to make two groups of objects the same.
We have set up a new cafe and hairdresser role-play corner in the outside area which the children have all been enjoying. I even paid a visit and was treated to a much needed new hairdo. Check out the photo of my new ‘do’ and my very proud stylist! As promised I have attached photo’s from the last couple of weeks too. I’ve finally managed to fix the camera so enjoy the bumper lot of pictures, including those from the bubble workshop!

Have a wonderful weekend and we look forward to seeing you all on Monday.

Mrs Carpineta and Mrs Gilliam.
