Year 2’s Super Harvest Assembly

This morning we were treated to a wonderful Harvest assembly by the boys and girls in Year 2.

We were reminded about how lucky we all are to have enough food to eat and a place to live, unlike so many people in the world today.

The boys and girls told us all how important it is to try and help people who are less fortunate than ourselves; each class then brought up their Harvest envelopes which they have generously filled with money to help these people.

Many thanks also for your kind donations to the Broxbourne Foodbank which will go to help those less fortunate than ourselves in the local community.

Thank you and well done to all of the boys and girls in Year 2 for sharing their lovely assembly with us and thanks to Mrs Ramsay and Mrs Cina for preparing them so well…and of course to the sound engineer, Mrs Pisaturo!
