What do you want to be when you grow up?
It’s a question that I ask myself every day!
Today is Aspirations Day at St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School and all of the boys and girls have come to school dressed as what they would like to be in the future.
We have budding doctors, nurses, builders, teachers, chefs, sportsmen/women, security guards, rock stars (including a certain Year 5 teacher!), police officers, princesses, explorers, ice-cream sellers…and 17 priests…you can put your feet up, Fr. John!
Many thanks to those parents who have volunteered to come in and talk to the boys and girls about their professions/carers today…we have 21 in total…what a wonderful response!
Finally, many thanks to Mrs O’Connor who introduced Aspirations Day to St. Joseph’s four years ago and is still aspiring to make it better every year!
Happy Aspirations Day everyone!
