Reception News: 11.05.18

A very busy week in Reception, and lots of bonding with Fr John!

The highlights of our week have been our Prayer Service on Thursday – thank you for helping us and practising lines at home with such short notice, and for coming to join us. I thought Reception did a wonderful job and did themselves proud – well done!

Today was International dress up and the boys and girls looked wonderful – thank you for all the hard work and effort that you put in to getting them dressed up. It was a lovely celebration of many cultures around the world. Thank you to Isabella’s mummy, too, for the Vietnamese crackers – a huge success!

We also went to 10am Mass this morning and the children were a credit to the school. We were fortunate enough to stay behind after Mass and have a look around the Church; the children loved having a look around the Altar and seeing where Fr John says Mass from.

We have also been continuing phonics and revising Phase 3 sounds, and in Maths we have been looking at one more and one less with numbers to 20.

And to top off the week – Reception had 100% attendance!

Enjoy the weekend, and we’ll see you all again on Monday 🙂
