What a pleasure it was today to take 12 representatives from our choir into London for the Carol Service at Westminster Cathedral!
For some of the children, it was the first time they had seen Westminster Cathedral and they were definitely suitably impressed when they caught their first glimpse of it…and that was before we went inside! The Carol Service was lovely and, to everyone’s delight (and disbelief when I first pointed them out) included real animals. Our choir did themselves proud joining in with all the carols and well done to Elissa who read her bidding prayer beautifully and to Aurelie and Alessia who took our contribution up in the offertory procession.
The children behaved beautifully all day and were a credit to our school. I’m looking forward to the next choir outing already!
