This morning, the boys and girls in Year 2 treated us to a lovely Harvest themed assembly.
After starting with the Harvest Samba (great moves boys and girls!) we were told all about how the food that we eat gets to our table and reminded about how lucky we are to have what we have.
The boys and girls used the word ‘HARVEST’ to spell out lots of other words including ‘HAVE’, ‘SHARE’, ‘EAT’, ‘STARVE’ and ‘SAVE’…how very clever!
During the assembly, representatives from each class brought forward their Harvest Envelopes with their contributions which will go to support those less fortunate than ourselves.
Sincere thanks to Year 2 for delivering such an important message through their wonderful assembly.
Finally, well done to Miss Ridley and Mrs Jess for preparing the children so well!
